Hands-on Training
The Great Lakes International Marine Training Centre is a Transport Canada approved training centre for those seeking a professional marine career. Both the Engineering and Navigation programs offer paid co-op work terms during the three years at school. Engineering cadets (students) get a total of 210 days of sea time over two work terms. Navigation cadets (students) get a total of 365 days over three work terms.
