Program Information
Marine Navigation Technology and the Marine Engineering Technology programs are three-year programs planned in co-operation with Transport Canada and Canadian shipping companies.
The programs consist of six academic semesters as well as mandatory co-op work terms:
Marine Navigation Technology requires a total of 365 days at sea, to complete the co-op requirements. For more detailed information on Marine Navigation Technology, click here.

Both programs offer complete preparation for those seeking a career as a Ship’s Navigation or Engineering Officer. The specialized competencies and work experience also provide the graduate with opportunities for employment in government and in other marine-related industries.
